Political turmoil in Thailand entered a period of crisis. Protesters on Sunday gathered around a police command center , so the Prime Minister ( PM ) Yingluck Shinawatra was forced to leave the place . For Yingluck , a chance to escape from this crisis dwindling .

Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand , Pracha Promnok , in a televised address Sunday night urged Bangkok residents to not be on the streets between 10 pm until 5 am .

A day earlier , a clash between two groups of demonstrators , killing at least three people . Meanwhile security forces fired tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators who tried to rush into the central government compound , Bangkok .

Suthep Thaugsuban , a veteran politician who moves demos , previously had declared Sunday as " V - Day " aka the day of victory , in its efforts to purge Thailand of the influence of Thaksin Shinawatra , the former Prime Minister who is also sister Yingluck . Thousands of people move to follow the invitation Suthep . Demonstrators besieged government buildings as well as a number of television stations .

In a speech in front of supporters , Suthep , 64, claims to have come face to face with Yingluck , 46 years , to convey their demands . Suthep and protesters demanding the government resign so that an appointed board that will be able to take over the country . Government officials also said a meeting between them had taken place, but declined to disclose details.

According to residents , the crisis is strongly associated with Thaksin lunge . Most people regard it as a highly billionaire close to the poor , thanks to policies such as free health care and access to easy credit .
