Daulah Islamiah (ISIS) in Iraq have captured two towns and at least one oil field in northern Iraq from the Kurdish security forces that expand the territory under their control.
Local officials say the militant extremist Islamic State control Zumar and Sinjar town near Mosul on Sunday (3/8), waged a fierce battle with Kurdish forces.
The French news agency quoted a spokesman for the United Nations says 200,000 people who have fled Sinjar and said there are serious concerns about their safety.
Deprivation was widened controlled territory since the Islamist group progress rapidly through northern Iraq in June to give them control of the city of Mosul and Tikrit. The militants have announced their own caliphate in Iraq near the border with Syria. VOA
