Supreme mufti in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh, establish Daulah Islamiyah group × aka ISIS and al-Qaeda as "enemy number one" of Islam.
In a statement issued in Riyadh ×, × Saudi grand mufti said the main victims of this extreme group is deeply dimpled × Islamic people he mentioned as the greatest evil.
The BBC's Middle East affairs Frank Gardner said the statement shows statement × Saudi Arabia that they do not have any connection with the group's ideology.
Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh said the group's ideology that establishes "caliphate" in a number of places in Iraq and Syria are not related to Islam.
"The idea of extremism, radicalism and terrorism ... has nothing to do with Islam and their × is the number one enemy of Islam," he said.
