"Therefore we set (a law) for the Children of Israel that whoever kills a human being, not because people were (kill) another person, or for causing corruption in the earth, it is as if he has killed all mankind. And he who saved a life, it is as if he saved the life of all human beings. And there came to them Our Messengers with (carrying) the particulars that clear, then many of them thereafter seriously exceed the limits in mischief on earth. "

إنما جزؤا الذين يحاربون الله ورسوله ويسعون فى الأرض فسادا أن يقتلوا أو يصلبوا أو تقطع أيديهم وأرجلهم من خلف أو ينفوا من الأرض ذلك لهم خزى فى الدنيا ولهم فى الاخرة عذاب عظيم )المائدة: 33(

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land (residence). That is (as) an insult to their world, and the next they may be great tribulation, "

إلا الذين تابوا من قبل أن تقدروا عليهم فاعلموا أن الله غفور رحيم )المائدة: 34(

"Except those who repent (among them) before you can master (catch) them; then know that Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. "

يأيها الذين ءامنوا اتقوا الله وابتغوا إليه الوسيلة وجهدوا فى سبيله لعلكم تفلحون )المائدة: 35(

"O ye who believe, fear Allah and seek the way that draw closer to Him, and strive in His way, so that you may prosper."

إن الذين كفروا لو أن لهم ما فى الأرض جميعا ومثله معه ليفتدوا به من عذاب يوم القيمة ما تقبل منهم ولهم عذاب أليم )المائدة: 36(

Indeed piety to God and earnestly seek His pleasure and strive in His way is the solution to win in the world and the hereafter. Instead, denial and defiance against the system or the religion of God is the cause of the failure in the world and the hereafter, despite having abundant wealth and great power. Because of abundant wealth and power it is not useful in the hereafter.
