The Indonesian government is preparing to host the 9th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation ( ( WTO ) , which took place on 3-6 December 2013 in Bali .
" The conference will be attended by ministers in charge of trade of 159 countries , which will be discussed are interesting in agriculture and services , " said Deputy Minister of Trade Krisnamurthi in Jakarta , Wednesday ( 6/11 ) .
According to Deputy Minister of Trade , Indonesia for this meeting is very important , because we want the world trade flows that can facilitate Indonesian interests such as the protection of farmers and rural development , the smooth flow of goods and trade in favor of poverty reduction .
As the host of Indonesia have more chance to bring ideas related to it in the WTO .
Wamendag believe Indonesia as a host of Koneferensi WTO , in addition would benefit from travelers coming me Bali , which is estimated at 7000-10000 people , this conference is also able to produce an agreement that will strengthen Bali the world trading system .
