Hundreds of policemen assigned to deal with the problem

At least 14 people were arrested in the state of Bihar,
northern India, because three Muslim residents were burned alive when a mob set
fire to dozens of homes.
The violence occurred on Sunday (18/01) at Ajitpur,
Muzaffarpur district.
Violence seems to be triggered after the discovery of the
body of a Hindu man in the village after the person lost more than a week.
A senior police officer told the BBC, the man loves a
Muslim woman. "He was kidnapped and killed," he said.
"People gathered after the bodies were found and
bake for about twenty huts of straw, at least three people were killed," a
police officer Gupteshwar Pandey.
"The situation is tense but under control," he
added.
Officials said the young man's father filed a missing
persons report to the police on January 11 and accused a Muslim man kidnapped
her son.
Bihar state government ordered the investigation of this
incident and hundreds of police have been lowered.
