The militant group calling itself the Islamic State or
ISIS threatened to kill two hostages again within 24 hours.
They threatened to kill the hostages Japan and Jordan,
unless Jordan freed an Iraqi woman, Sajida al-Rishawi, who was sentenced to
death for his involvement in the bombings in Amman in 2005.
ISIS ultimatum delivered via video message uploaded to
YouTube. Sound in the video is the voice of journalists suspected of Japan,
Kenji Goto, who was arrested in Syria last October.

Voice in the video says his life is threatened with an
Air Force pilot Jordan, Mu'ath al-Kaseasbe, whose plane was shot down by a
group calling itself the Islamic State in December 2014.
Meanwhile, the Japanese government said it is asking for
help to liberate Kenji Goto Jordan.
Direct government held an emergency meeting after
appearing latest video called issued by the ISIS.
"In the midst of this very difficult situation, we
continue to ask for cooperation between the government of Jordan to free
Goto," said a spokesman for the Japanese government, Yasuhide Suga,
Tuesday (27/01).
Previously a resident of Japan Haruna Yukawa had killed
