Pilgrims stone ‘devil’ at Haj
Unfinished journey (141)

(The one hundred and forty-one, Depok, West Java, Indonesia, October 5, 2014, 06: 06EST)

About 2.5 million pilgrims out of 163 countries in the world are now in the peak of the Hajj ritual of stoning the devil symbolically with seven small pebbles as done when the Prophet Abraham stoned the Devil with small stones to obstruct efforts to flirt whenProphet Ibrahim slaughtered his son Prophet Ismail, who later replaced God Almighty with a goat.

Pilgrims stone ‘devil’ at Haj; Eid Al-Adha begins

MINA: Pilgrims stoned the devil on Saturday in the last major ritual of this year’s Haj in Makkah, and Muslims around the world began celebrating Eid Al-Adha, the feast of sacrifice.

The stoning ritual took place in Mina, about five kilometers east of the Grand Mosque in the holy city of Makkah.

Pilgrims had moved to Mina overnight Friday on foot, motorbikes, and buses from Mount Arafat after the Haj reached its zenith with a day of prayer, as well as tears by pilgrims moved by the sanctity of the spot where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is believed to have given his final sermon 14 centuries ago.

In the stoning ritual, pilgrims throw pebbles, which they collected at Muzdalifah on the way to Mina, at walls to emulate Prophet Abraham (pbuh), who is said to have stoned the devil at three locations when the devil tried to dissuade him from God’s order to sacrifice his son Ishmael.

In conjunction with the stoning, pilgrims offer sacrifices by slaughtering a sheep, whose meat goes to the needy.

Nowadays, pilgrims do not carry out this rite themselves, but agencies do it for them by distributing the meat to Muslims in many countries.

A total of about 1.5 billion Muslims around the world were celebrating Eid Al-Adha with sacrifices of sheep, goats and other animals.

Pilgrims stone ‘devil’ at Haj

This year’s Haj attracted just over two million believers including almost 1.4 million from abroad, according to statistics published by the official Saudi Press Agency.

The balance of almost 700,000 came from within the kingdom, both Saudis and expatriates.

These numbers are roughly the same as last year.
The Haj has drawn a cross-section of humanity, everyone from presidents — Sudanese leader Omar Al-Bashir was among them — to commoners including a wounded Syrian rebel war veteran, as well as rich and poor pilgrims alike.

The Haj, which officially ends on Tuesday, is the world’s largest Muslim gathering.
It is one of the five pillars of Islam that every capable Muslim must perform at least once, the high-point of his or her spiritual life.

French convert who drove 7,000 km for Umrah now king’s guest for Haj

A French pilgrim who recently converted to Islam and drove 7,000 km in his car with his wife to perform Umrah is now in Makkah as the guest of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for Haj.

Alexander embraced Islam and adopted his Muslim name, Hamza, after six years of search for the truth. It was the “adan,” or the call to prayer, which he heard for the first time while he was in an African country that changed his life.

“It inspired me to search for the truth. It gave me an inexplicable feeling that spread throughout my body and I stood astounded for a long time. I am very happy to have had embraced the world’s great religion,” he said.

After becoming a Muslim, his first intention was to visit Makkah to perform Umrah and it was then that Hamza set out on a journey by land and crossed 7,000 km from Morocco to Mauritania, and then Burkina Faso, reaching Niger.

“I visited the Saudi Embassy in Niger to get an Umrah visa. They informed me that the visa should be issued in advance through an agent. Embassy officials, however, promised to help me,” he said.

Hamza and his wife eagerly awaited the Umrah visa in Niger. “We prayed to God every day for our dream to come true and we had full confidence that the Almighty would help us to pray at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.”

When the issue took a long time, the two decided to return to France.
“We packed everything and took a taxi to the airport. While we were on the way, we received a call from the Saudi Embassy in Niger saying that we have been selected as one of 1,000 guest pilgrims of King Abdullah to perform Haj this year. I could not believe my ears.”

He said: “All our difficulties and problems faded away when we saw the House of God. I cried and cried standing in front of the Kaaba and thanked Allah and King Abdullah for giving me this great opportunity.”

Hamza intends to study Islamic law to gain more knowledge about the religion and spread its message among others.

He thanked the Saudi Embassy in Niger for providing assistance to him and his wife. He also commended the Saudi government for carrying out massive projects in Makkah and other holy sites for the welfare of pilgrims. (arabnews)

MIQAT (TIME OR PLACE SPECIFIED)

By
Shaykh Abdul bin al-Badawi Azhim Khalafi

Plural form of the word Mawaqit miqat, such as mawa'id and mi'ad. Miqat is divided into two, namely miqat gadoh (time) and makani miqat (place).[1]

Miqat Gadoh (Time)
Allah Ta'ala says:

"They ask you about the Crescent. Say, ' it's a Crescent Moon are signs for a human being and time (for worship) Hajj... " [Al-Baqarah: 189]

And the word of Allaah:

الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَّعْلُومَاتٌ

"(The season) he was understandably few months..." [Al-Baqarah: 197]

Ibn ' Umar Radi that said:

أَشْهُرُ الْحَجِّ شَوَّالٌ وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ وَعَشْرٌ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ.

"The months of Hajj is Dhul-Qa'dah Syawal, and ten days of Dhul-Hijjah month."

Ibn ' Abbas said: that ' Radi

"Including the Sunnah is not Ihram in miqats for Hajj except in the months of Hajj." [2]

Makani Miqat (Place)
From Ibn ' Abbas Radi anuma, he said:

"Indeed the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam has determined the miqat for the people of Medina, namely, Dhul-Hulaifah, for residents of the Sham, that is Specified, for the inhabitants of Najd, namely Qarnul Manazil and for residents of Yemen, namelyYalamlam. He said, ' all of them are for the residents of these cities and those who are not residents of those cities are passing through these cities, who wanted to perform the pilgrimage and umrah. And for the person who is closer than the cities, then he started the ihram from his place, until the residents of Makkah started the ihram fromMecca. "

From ' Aisha Radi that:

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَّتَ ِلأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ.

"Indeed the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam has set the miqat for the people of Iraq, namely ' Dzatu ' Irq."

Who's going to Mecca for the Hajj should not be passed through these places until hisIhram in miqats.

Ihram in miqats before (the places) is makruh. All of the history of Hadith regardingthe suggestion for ihram in miqat is not Saheeh, before there is even a history of the opposite. See a word about these hadeeths cacatnya in adh-Ahaadiits al-Dha'iifah (p.210-212).

What a wonderful word Malik to people wishing to Dhul-Hulaifah Ihram in miqatsbefore, "you shall not do, because I'm afraid will happen to slander you." The person isthen asked, "Slander what could arise from it? This is just a few miles that I add. "Imam Malik replied, "What greater Slander than you rated have exceeded theMessenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam in virtue of which the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam neglect of these things? I heard the words of God:

فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَن تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

“...Then let those who violated his commands fear will be overwritten or replacedadzab ordeal a poignant. " [An-Nuur: 63]

Passing The Miqat Without Ihram In Miqats
Whoever passes the miqat without Ihram in miqats, while he was about to Hajj and ' umrah, then he passes the miqat after Ihram in miqats, then he has sinned becausedoing so. Sin will not be erased from him until he returned to the miqat miqat andIhram in miqats from it, then he perfected throughout the Hajj rituals (hajinyaworship). When he did not return (to the miqat), manasiknya is valid, but he sinnedand not mandatory for her dam, on the basis of Hadith that Ya'la bin Ya'la Shafwanonce said to ' Umar Radi ' anhu, "show me how the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam when Revelation came down to him?" Umar Radi ' anhu say:

While the Prophet balgaranh-together with a group of his companions-a man came and said: o Messenger of God, how do you see the man he entered IHRAAM for his age and is mtdamkh, OK? It minted the Prophet hours, suddenly inspired, said Omar z to يعليٰ, يعليٰ-and came to the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him I keep the dress may-enter his head, if the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, reddened face, is covered, and then his secret, he said: in the sea

"When the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam was on Ji'ranah-he shared some of hisbest friend-a man came up to him and asked, ' O Messenger of Allaah, what do you think about a man that ihram for ' umrah when she is covered in fragrant oils? ' The Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam paused briefly, then the revelation comes down to him. ' Umar motioned to Ya'la, Ya'la pun coming-at that time the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam berpayung with a piece of clothing — and enter his head.Suddenly he saw the face of the Messenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam blush while hetook out the sound of breath, then he recovered slowly and asked, ' where people areasked about umrah last? ' The man was brought (to the presence of the Messenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam). The Messenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam said, ' wash yourfragrance oil you have three times, open your cloak and umrahmu as you do working on hajimu. ' " [3]

Pilgrims stone ‘devil’ at Haj

This clearly shows that whoever menyelisihi, or doing one of the things that areforbidden when there is no obligation for him to do but he had to quit the job (left)only, because the Messenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam was not commanded menwho wear women's fragrance oil-stained robe (of type khuluq, as in other history) except to open his coat and wash the perfume. He was ordered to slaughter livestockreplacement. If it is mandatory, he undoubtedly would command should not bedelayed because of the time needed and explanation here (the explanation) required*. *

Start The Ihram In Miqat
When he was about to vote, haji Ihram in miqats qarin Pilgrim and had brought an animal slaughtered, then he said:

لَبَّيْكَ اللّهُمَّ بِحَحَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ.

"I will call, o God, with the intention of Hajj and ' umrah."

If he had not brought the slaughtering (Hajj tamattu ' ' and this is what more mainstream), it should be just ' umrah with Ihram in miqats, then he said:

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ.

"I will call you, o God with the intention of ' umrah."

When he say he should just cancel Hajj and umrah made him [4]. Because theMessenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam commanded all of his companions so that theirihram of Ihram might do and makes performing the sa'i and they became the ' umrah, except the person who has brought the slaughtering. The Messenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam gave examples, he then angry with people who did not immediately carry out his orders and he confirmed it with his sayings, "Umrah Hajj section into untildoomsday." It is also a nash which suggests that ' umrah has become integral part ofthe Hajj.

He ' alaihi wa sallam also said:

لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ لَمْ أَسُقِ الْهَدْيَ.

"I wish I knew what I know now I would not be bringing animal sacrifices."

This is not just an expression of his feelings with mere (reveal) the desire is missing by him because he had been to Hajj Ihram in miqats qarin Pilgrim. However, this is an expression of his ' alaihi wa sallam (stating) that Hajj tamattu ' Hajj ' better than qarin Pilgrim.

Every person who must perform the pilgrimage Hajj and umrah combines, either theumrahnya made in advance because he had not brought the slaughtering and here istamattu ' Hajj '-or ' umrahnya in conjunction with Hajj because he brought the animalsacrifice, and this is haji qarin Pilgrim-. Either that or she was working on, and he has been following the instructions of the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam, althoughanime is better than ' qarin Pilgrim, as we explain.

Next we need to know that someone who worked on the Hajj ifrad or qarin Pilgrimwho carried no slaughtering even though compulsory for their Ihram of Ihram might do when they are performing and the sa'i. They sometimes don't find enough time toberta

Next we need to know that someone who worked on the Hajj ifrad or qarin Pilgrimwho carried no slaughtering even though compulsory for their Ihram of Ihram might do when they are performing and the sa'i. They sometimes did not find sufficient time for Ihram might do from Ihram, then start Hajj rituals before time standing in ' Arafahis over. Therefore, the person who for Hajj ifrad and Ihram in miqats qarin Pilgrim whocarried no livestock can be fixed no Ihram in miqats Ihram might do from Ihramexcept after throwing the jamrahs ' Aqabah on the day of an-nahr (10 Dhul-Hijjah) if the time for Ihram might do Hajj and Ihram in miqats back to isn't enough.

For example, people who are up in Makkah on the evening of the ninth day, he was afraid to Miss standing in ' Arafah because time is narrow and close by the time dawn.People like this should immediately go to ' Arafah in order not to miss the tenets if he loses this, then he will lose the Hajj pillars entirely, is standing in ' Arafah. Hajj ifradmay and disyari'atkan is carried out in cramped conditions once. If someone does Hajjifrad Hajj tamattu ' and leave ' because prefer the Hajj ifrad, then he has sinned, because the Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam ordered his companions to maketheir umrah pilgrimage. But the people remain valid Hajj * *. *

That It Is An Ihram In Miqats Requires Tahallul If He Is Sick And Others
From ' Aisha Radi that he said, "the Messenger of Allaah ' alaihi wa sallam never wentto meet Dhuba'ah Bint Zubair and said, ' You want to make Hajj? ' He replied, ' for the sake of God, I did not find myself except in sickly condition. ' He said to him, ' Go and make Hajj last terms say.

' O God, where I'm stuck is where I place of Ihram might do. ' "" [5]

Conditional with whoever it is, then whenever he is stuck (can't proceed) because ofan illness or there is an enemy or otherwise, he may of Ihram might do and he is notobliged to pay dam.

Whoever does not require anything, if he is stuck (not able to resume worship), thenhe is obliged to pay the dam, as Allaah says:

فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ

“... If you pick (stymied by the enemy or due to illness), then (and kill) sacrifices areeasy to come by... " [Al-Baqarah: 196]

Slaughtering shall not be in addition to the farm animals: camel, ox (Buffalo), and goats. When easy for him, then the goat is already sufficient, camels and cows moresufficient anymore. If he does not get the ease should he fasted ten days, diqiyaskanin people who make Hajj Tamattu ' ' when he doesn't get the sacrificial animals.
