Eat kosher food.
God commanded the man that we eat kosher food, good food
that we buy by kosher, meaning that the money we earn from lawful manner and
not the proceeds of riba (interest).
Moreover besides we bought food from the proceeds of our
work is lawful and not the proceeds of corruption, pilfer, rob or take other
people's rights or the rights of orphans, God as in explained in Surah An-Nahl
verse 115 forbids us to eat pork, blood , carcasses of animals (except fish),
and in another sura and another proposition in the Quran and Hadith we are also
forbidden to drink wine (intoxicating drink (containing alcohol), smoking
(smoking cigaret) based Fatwa Council of Ulama and Muhammadiyah Indonesia Saudi
Arabia).
Allah says in the Qur'an Surah An-Nahl, Verse 115:
إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل لغير الله
به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن الله غفور رحيم (115)
This means:
He hath only forbidden upon you (take) carrion, blood,
pork and anything slaughtered by the name of other than Allah, but whoever is
forced to eat it by not persecute nor exceed the limit, then surely Allah is
Forgiving, Merciful. (16: 115)
Al-Quran in this verse invites people to keep his balance
in eating food. Not the extreme left and right. Therefore God calls any food
that can be eaten. Al-Quran is based on human needs saying, "You are
allowed to eat meat, but not any meat. Keep yourself from eating meat that has
been strangled, dead (carrion) and animals not slaughtered meat. So you also
forbidden to eat the meat of animals slaughtered without mentioning the name of
God. "
In another letter there are verses which are identical to
the verse we just read this and explain in detail the animals were clean and
unclean food.
Continued paragraph 115 an-Nahl letter reads, "When
you are in a difficult condition and to maintain a life that makes you forced
to eat the meat of animals that are forbidden, Allah will forgive you. But the
condition you do not eat it exceeds the limit of an emergency."
From the last paragraph, there are two lessons to be
learned:
1. Philosophy pengharaman portion of food is not limited
to health problems, but abstain from Shirk and soiling like this become major
benchmarks divine prohibition. That is, a Muslim in terms of eating should also
be in the path of monotheism.
2. Islam never deadlocked. In emergency conditions, sin
was pardoned.
In the 1980s in countries such as the majority of
non-Muslims in the United States, halal meat is hard to find. I live in the
city of Fresno, California, when it must buy kosher meat in the city of
Sacramento, the Sacramento I usually buy enough kosher chicken, and I
distribute the Muslims and the Muslim students through the Masjid Fresno.
Today the supermarket or the mini market which sells
halal food is pretty much scattered in cities in the United States, including
in San Diego, where I often visit my sister who was married to US citizens who
live in this city.
This is due to the number and Muslims fairly rapid growth
and spread in small towns and major cities in the US.
So also in countries such as the majority of non-Muslims
in Germany, Britain and France, 1980'an first year when I visited Germany,
Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands and Spain I was always eating and searching
for Turkish Muslim-owned restaurant that is scattered in the countries
countries in Europe.
Restaurant owned Turkish immigrants have if we call in
Indonesia as Warteg (warung Tegal / small restaurant), but lawful and the menu
does away with the menu on the countries of the Arab Middle East.
If I am to Singapore, I always took time to eat outside
the hotel to find a restaurant belonging to ethnic Malay Muslims and Indian
Muslims and Pakistan. Because I doubt whether the chicken and meat in the
kosher hotel in Singapore.
In the past when I walk to several states in the United
States, I always stop by the restaurant when McDonald, I always order Mc Fish
(fish sandwich).
In Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, there is a restaurant
belonging to young Muslims from Java who married a girl from Serbia who later
became his wife Muallaf (enter Islam) and has one daughter. Although not
written restaurannya Halal label in front restaurannya, but the owner claimed
all meat and all the entire menu Restaurannya kosher ingredients she bought at
Mini Market Halal food sold by Muslim Serbia.
BOOK OF FOOD
By
Shaikh Abdullah bin Abdul al-Azhim Khalafi
Al-Ath'imah (الأطعمة) is the plural form of tha'aam (طعام)
(food), that everything is eaten and eaten by humans in the form of staple food
or otherwise.
The legal origin of the food is kosher, based on the word
of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:
يا أيها الناس كلوا مما في الأرض حلالا طيبا
"O mankind, eat the lawful and good from what is
contained in the earth ..." [Al-Baqarah: 168]
Allaah also says:
"... Eat and drink, and do not exaggerate. Allah
loves not those who exaggerated. Say, 'Who is God forbid jewelry of his that
has been issued for his servants, and (who pulakah that forbid) good luck ...'
"[Al-A'raaf: 31-32]
Should not forbid anything from food unless the food that
has been God forbid in His Book or prohibited through the oral His Messenger.
Who do not forbid what Allah has forbidden, including fetched lie against
Allah.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
"Say, 'Explain to me about rizki Allah revealed to
you, then you are illegitimate and made in part (some things) lawful."
Say,' Does God has given you permission (about it) or you're just making it up
to God? Are allegations of those who invent lies against Allah on the Day of
Judgment ... "[Yunus: 59-60]
Allaah also says:
"And say not of what was mentioned by the tongue is
a lie, 'This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent a lie against
Allah. Indeed those who invent a lie against Allah never will prosper. (It was)
a little pleasure, and for them a painful torment. "[An-Nahl: 116-117]
Various Kinds of Foods That Forbidden
Allah says:
"Why do not you want to eat (kosher animals) called
the Name of God when slaughtered, when in fact God has explained to you what
was in his-forbid thee, except what you are forced to feed on it ..." [Al-
An'am: 119]
Allaah has mentioned in detail what is forbidden to us,
with clear details and explain it clearly.
Allah the Exalted says:
حرمت عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل لغير الله به
والمنخنقة والموقوذة والمتردية والنطيحة وما أكل السبع إلا ما ذكيتم وما ذبح على النصب
وأن تستقسموا بالأزلام ذلكم فسق
"Forbidden to you (take) carrion, blood, pork, (meat
animals) are slaughtered in the name of other than Allah, the strangled, which
was hit, which fell, headlong, are attacked by wild animals, except that you
had slaughtered, and (forbidden you) are slaughtered for idols. And (also
forbidden) raffle fate with arrows, (raffle luck with the arrow) is wickedness.
"[Al-Maa-idah: 3]
Allah the Exalted says:
ولا تأكلوا مما لم يذكر اسم الله عليه وإنه لفسق
"And do not eat animals that are not called Name of
God when the slaughter. Surely such an act is a wickedness ... "[Al-An'am:
121]
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
"Say, 'Tiadalah I get in the revelation revealed to
me, things that are forbidden for people who want to eat it, unless the food is
carrion, or blood flow or pork-because actually all that kotor- or animals
slaughtered in the name of other than Allah ... "[Al-An'am: 145]
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
"... And the forbidden upon you (capture) ground
game animals, as long as you are in ihram ..." [Al-Maa-idah: 96]
Things That statute Lumped With Bangkai
Something of a limb is cut from the animal alive, the law
equated with the carcass. Based on the hadith of Abu Waqid al-Laitsi, he said,
"The Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
ما قطع من البهيمة وهي حية فهو ميتة.
'What was cut from animals that are still alive are
scavengers.' "[1]
Excluded carcass And Blood
From Ibn 'Umar radi' anhuma, he said, "The Prophet
sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
أحلت لنا ميتتان ودمان, فأما الميتتان فالحوت والجراد, وأما
الدمان فالكبد والطحال.
'It has been made lawful for us two types of carcass and
two types of blood, while both types of carcass was carcasses of fish and
locusts, while both types of blood it is the liver and spleen.' "[2]
Pet Donkey pengharaman
From Anas ibn Malik radi 'anhu, he explained that the
Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam never approached by someone saying,
"Donkey pet has eaten." Then he visited again by someone and say,
"Donkey pet has eaten." Then he visited again by someone and say,
"Donkey pets have become extinct." Finally he ordered someone to
announce on humans (people said), 'Allah and His Apostle forbid you to eat
donkey meat pets, domestic real donkey meat was unclean.' I was spilled a pot
of boiling donkey meat. "[3]
Every illegitimate Eating Animals That Have Fangs Of
Beasts And Animals That Have Paws All Types Of Birds
From Ibn 'Abbaas a'nhuma, he said:
نهى رسول الله عن كل ذي ناب من السباع, وعن كل ذي مخلب من الطير.
"Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade us to
eat every animal that has fangs of wild animals and each animal having claws of
a bird species." [4]
Pengharaman Jallalah (Animals That Eat Dirt)
Jallalah are animals that most of the food is unclean
things (dirt-pent).
Forbidden to eat, drink the milk, and ride it.
From Ibn 'Umar radi a'nhuma, he said:
نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن أكل الجلالة وألبانها.
"Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade us to
take jallalah and drink the milk." [5]
And from him also quoted 'anhuma, he said:
نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسل عن الجلالة في الإبل أن يركب
عليها, أو يشرب من ألبانها.
"Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade us
camels jallalah or drink the milk." [6]
When is Jallalah Can Be Halal?
If the animal is locked up for three days and were fed
with food that is holy, so be slaughtered and eaten.
From Ibn 'Umar radi' anhuma, he explained that he
jallalah chicken coop for three days. [7]
Something permissibility Haram when Emergency
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
"... But whoever is forced (to eat) when he was not
wanted and not (also) exceeds the limit, then there is no sin on him. Allah is
Forgiving, Merciful. "[Al-Baqarah: 173]
Allaah also says:
".... So whoever is forced by hunger accidentally
sin, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. "[Al-Maa-idah: 3]
Ibn Kathir rahimahullah said (II / 14), "Anyone who
needs to eat the forbidden foods mentioned by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is due
to an emergency, then he may eat it, and Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to
him. Because Allaah knows the needs of His servants who are in trouble and in
desperate need of food, then God also allow (take) her and forgive her.
Mentioned in Musnad Imam Ahmad and Shahiih Ibni Hibban of Ibn 'Umar marfu', he
said, 'Messenger of Allah sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said.
'Allah please his relief when taken as He hates doing
disobedience to Him.' "[8]
Therefore, the scholars of fiqh experts say that eating
the carcasses under certain circumstances (can be) shall, when he feared (destruction)
itself and do not see anything (which is lawful to eat). Sometimes legal and
sometimes becomes Sunnah is permissible in accordance with the circumstances.
While they disagree whether the scavenged it only a
modest course to sustain the rest of his life or he may eat until you are full,
or even allowed to keep it for lunch? Disputes them into some opinion as stated
in the books of jurisprudence.
They also argue that it does not get any food for three
days, not a requirement for the permissibility of scavengers. As suspected by
most laymen and besides them, but that is true whenever he was forced to eat
it, he should eat it.
