Al-Qaeda claimed 'responsible' for the attack Charlie

Video AQAP said the attack because of Charlie Hebdo
insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
The militant group al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, or
AQAP claimed responsibility for the attack on the office satirical magazine
Charlie Hebdo.
In a video posted on YouTube, Yemen-based AQAP said the
attack was carried out because the magazine insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
Spokesman for the group said Ayman Zawahiri, AQAP-
supreme leader ordered attacks.
The attack on Charlie Hebdo offices, which killed 12
people conducted by two men brothers, Cherif Kouachi Kouachi and Said, who
later died in a raid on the French security forces.
One of the attackers, Cherif Kouachi, indicating that he
perform an action on behalf of AQAP, which initially welcomed the attack but
did not claim responsibility.
