Most people living in this day and age, only makes matters born visible as a barometer in assessing the events that occur around them. This is an effect of the dominance of the world of lust and love in them.
They are not driven to understand the essence of all these events, because they do not have a strong belief in the supernatural matters (which is not visible) and they forget about the eternal life in the hereafter.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
يعلمون ظاهرا من الحياة الدنيا وهم عن الآخرة هم غافلون
They just know that birth (visible) world of life, while the (life) Hereafter they neglect [ar-Rûm/30: 7]
As a concrete example, in understanding the meaning of corruption in the earth that are sticking out lately. Nowadays, many people, not even the Muslims, who defines corruption in the earth was limited to things that appear, such as natural disasters, fires, destruction of forests, endemic infectious diseases, floods, global warming and so forth. They forget the damage was not more severe visible bad effects. Though this is the greatest damage and fatal consequences. Damage that is the cause of the damage on the surface of the earth.
MEANING OF ACTUAL DAMAGES ON EARTH
Jalaluhu Allah Jalla says:
ظهر الفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت أيدي الناس ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون
Have seen the damage on land and in the oceans due handiwork (immoral) [1] humans, so that Allâh feel to them most of (due to) their deeds, so that they come back (to the right path) [ar-Rûm/30: 41]
In this noble verse, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala states that the main cause of all the damage [2] that occur on earth in various forms is bad and immoral actions by humans. This shows that immoral acts are the real core damage and is the main source of damage that appears on the face of the earth.
Imam Abul 'Aliyah ar-Riyâhi [3] says, "Those who engage in immoral to Allah on earth means that he has committed mischief on the earth, because the earth and the sky because it's good with obedience (to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala-pent) "[4]

Imam ash-Syaukani rahimahullah when interpreting the above verse says, "(In this verse) Allah explains that shirk and immoral is because the onset (range) damage in the universe" [5]
In another verse, Allah Azza wa Jallaberfirman:
وما أصابكم من مصيبة فبما كسبت أيديكم
And whatever calamities befall you, it was caused by the act (sin) your own [asy-Syûra/42: 30]
Shaykh 'Abd as-Sa'di rahimahullah when interpreting this verse says, "Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala preach that all the calamities that befall humans, (both) on the self, possessions nor their children, as well as on what they like, do not Another reason is the bad deeds (immoral) they have ever done ... "[6]

No exception in this regard, disaster and "damage" that occurred in the household, such harmonious relationship between husband and wife, frequent quarrels, the main cause of all this is immoral acts committed by the husband or wife.
This is the meaning which is expressed in the words of one Salaf who said, "It was (when) I engage in immoral to Allâh, then I saw (bad influence) such immoral acts on the behavior of my wife ..." [7].
Therefore also, Allah Almighty called hypocrites as those who do mischief on the earth, because of bad immoral deeds they did in opposing the Almighty Allah and His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Allah says:
وإذا قيل لهم لا تفسدوا في الأرض قالوا إنما نحن مصلحون ألا إنهم هم المفسدون ولكن لا يشعرون
And when it is said to them, "Do not make mischief on the earth!" They said, 'We the people who made repairs "surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realize (Surat al-Baqarah / 2:11-12).
Shaykh 'Abd as-Sa'di rahimahullah said, "Doing wickedness on earth is a form of vandalism because such actions cause damage to what is in the earth, such as whole grains, fruits, trees and plants, so that the disease- due to immoral acts. (Other causes of immoral acts called destruction-red) is due to improvement (which is the opposite of vandalism-red) in the face of the earth with the prosperity of the earth do with obedience and faith in Almighty Allah. This is the purpose of Allah Almighty created man and put them in the earth, and bestows sustenance to them in order to support them in carrying out the obedience and worship of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. If they commit acts contrary to the obedience to Allah (immoral) means they have been trying to undermine and destroy the main purpose of the creation of the earth "[8].
Therefore, the death of evildoers is a major cause of the decline in numbers mischief in the land. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,
والعبد الفاجر يستريح منه العباد والبلاد والشجر والدواب
(Death) a servant who fajir (many commit adultery) would make human, land, trees and animals apart (to avoid the damage inflicted-vice) [9]
SHIRK AND heretical BIGGEST CAUSE OF DAMAGE ON PLANET EARTH
Because of shirk (associating partners with Allah Almighty in worship) is the greatest sin in the Almighty Allah, the damage caused by these actions is very large, even the act which is the main cause the greatest damage in the face of the earth.
Imam Qatadah [10] and as-Suddi rahimahullah rahimahullah said: "The damage (real) is shirk. This is the most substantial damage "[11]
.
Similarly, acts of heresy [12]. All calls that are contrary to the instructions propaganda Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, is essentially a cause of mischief in the land. Because the guidance and the truth brought by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is the only rule for the prosperity and welfare of the universe. So that all religious appeal against his instructions was the main cause mischief in the land.
On that basis, Imam Abu Bakr Ibn 'Ayyash al-Kufi [13] when asked about the meaning of the word of Allah Jalla Jalaluhu:
ولا تفسدوا في الأرض بعد إصلاحها
And do not make mischief on the earth, after (God) to fix it ... [al-A'raf / 7:56]
He said, "Verily Allah Almighty sent Prophet Muhammad to mankind n, (when) they are in a state of disrepair. Then Allah Almighty fix (state) them with (the instructions are taken) the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. So person who invites (men) to other than the instructions of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam meant he was among the people who do mischief on earth "[14]
HOW TO OVERCOME AND CORRECT DAMAGE ON PLANET EARTH
The main cause mischief in the land is immoral acts in all its forms. Therefore, the only way to repair the damage is to repent properly (nasûh) [15] and return to the path of Allah. Because repentance nasûh will eliminate all the negative effects of sin ever dilakuakan by someone.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
التائب من الذنب كمن لا ذنب له
People who have converted (earnest) of sin as those who have no sin (at all) [16]
This is the meaning that is implied in the word of Allah Azza wa Jalladi above,
ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون
Allâh ... so feel to them most of (due to) their deeds, so that they come back (to the right path) [ar Rûm/30: 41].
That is, in order that they repent of deeds (immoral) which cause major damage (in their lives), so then they would be good condition and well-being [17]
In this case, the noble Companions, Umar radi 'anhu never said in his prayer, "O Allah, verily a catastrophe will not happen unless the (cause) a sin, and will not disappear unless havoc with repentance (earnest ) ... "[18].
So, back to the instructions of Allah Almighty and His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam with and learn, understand and practice it is a solution to eliminate corruption in the earth in all its forms, even replace it with kindness, welfare and well-being. Because it is the religion of Islam is prescribed by Almighty Allah almighty Essence perfect his knowledge and wisdom [19] for the good and welfare of human life. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
يا أيها الذين آمنوا استجيبوا لله وللرسول إذا دعاكم لما يحييكم
O you who believe, fulfill the call of Allah and His Messenger who calls to invite you to one who gives (the benefit of) [20] life for you "[al-Anfal / 8:24].
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahullah said, "(It shows) that the useful life can only be achieved by fulfilling the call of Allah and His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Whoever does not fulfill the call of Allah and His Messenger, then he will not feel (happiness -ed) life, although he is still alive as the most despicable animals (even). then essentially happy life is the life of those who fill the coffers of Allâh and His Messenger, physically and spiritually "[21].
In another verse Allah Jalla Jalaluhu said:
ولو أن أهل القرى آمنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والأرض ولكن كذبوا فأخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون
If it be the people of the country faithful and devoted, we certainly bestowed upon them blessings from heaven and earth, but they belied (the verses of Us), then We seized them due to his actions [al-A'raf / 7:96]
That is, if they have faith in their hearts with true faith and righteous deeds as well as evidenced by the realization of devotion to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and unseen by leaving all of his ban, then surely Allah will open (the doors) blessing in heaven and earth for them. Allah Almighty will reduce heavy rain (useful) and grow crops for their lives and animals (livestock) them. (They will live) in happiness or abundance, without toil, fatigue and suffering. But (the fact-red) they do not believe and fear Allah, Allah punished them because eventually act (immoral) they "[22]
.
Therefore, those who seek redress in the face of the earth that actually it was the people who called on people to go back to the instructions of Allah Azza wa Jalladan His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, to teach and to spread monotheism and Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam to mankind.
These are the people who created the welfare and prosperity of the universe and its contents, not least the animals on land and sea. They share in the goodness. So they constantly pray for the good of Allah for the people, as an expression of gratitude to them [23].
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
وإن العالم ليستغفر له من في السموات ومن في الأرض حتى الحيتان في الماء
Indeed the learned (and teach their knowledge to humans) will always be invoked his sin by all beings in the heavens (the angels) and on the earth, to the extent that (including) the existing fish in the sea .... [24]
This at once shows that the death of people of knowledge who always invites people to the instructions of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is a sign of the emergence of doom and destruction of human life. Due to the death of them, will be reduced dissemination of monotheism and Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in the middle man. This is because the onset of damage and disaster in life.
In this regard, Imam al-Hasan al-Basri rahimahullah [25] once said, "Death of the learned is leakage (damage) in Islam that can not be patched (fixed) by any during the day and night is continuously changing" [26] .
