SERVANT OF GOD BE 24 HOURS

SERVANT OF GOD BE 24 HOURS

By
Ustadz Abu Ihsan al-Atsari

Indeed, Almighty Allah created man for a noble purpose, which is to worship Allah alone without associating him with something else. Allah Almighty says:

And I have not created jinn and man to worship Me. [Adz-Dzâriyât/51: 56]

In this verse, Allah n requires two things of us. First, pray to Allah Almighty in a way that suits his Shari'a. Second, do not give up the worship to other than Him.

That is, a believer should be a servant of Allah Almighty during his life. Status as a servant of Allah Almighty is not to be separated from him even for a moment. That's the purpose we were created. That status and highest degree achieved by a human being, which is a servant of Allah Almighty true. Allah Almighty has pinned this title to his servants the most noble, Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, Allah Almighty says:

سبحان الذي أسرى بعبده ليلا من المسجد الحرام إلى المسجد الأقصى الذي باركنا حوله

Most holy Allah, who has memperjalankan his servant on a night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Aqsa Mosque which We have blessed around him to show him some of Our signs (greatness) us. Verily, He is All-hearing, All-knowing. [Al-Isra '/ 17:1]

Age that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has given us this is a gift and not a priceless gift. One day Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala give us 24 hours. That's the time we should use her best to be a true servant of Allah.

Hence the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam delivered a very great testament to us, he sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said:

اغتنم خمسا قبل خمس: شبابك قبل هرمك, و صحتك قبل سقمك, وغناك قبل فقرك, و فراغك قبل شغلك, و حياتك قبل موتك

Redeeming the five before coming the five (ie) your youth before old age comes; period before coming past your common illness; period before coming future kayamu poor; your spare time before coming busy periods; thy days before the coming of death. [1]

Is a collection of real life day-to-day. It would hurt us, if continued lulled delusion that they forgot to improve. Properly, we move from one form of worship to other forms of worship. Allah Almighty says:

Then when you have finished (from something affairs), do solemnly (affair) to another, and only the Rabbmulah should you expect [al-Insyirah/94 :7-8]

When explaining this verse, Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen rahimahullah said, "When you have completed a task so be prepared to work on other tasks, do not waste the opportunity. Therefore, a reasonable person is living a passionate life. Each time you finish working on a task, he prepared to work on other tasks. Because the time will go by, we both awake and asleep, busy or vacant. Time goes by, no one is able to hold him. If only all men come together to hold the sun in order to lengthen the time of day they would not be able to do it. No one can withstand time. Therefore, make your life full of the spirit of life. If you are finished working on a job, continue with other work. If you are finished working on the affairs of the world, you shall continue to carry out the affairs of the Hereafter. Conversely, if you have finished with the affairs of the Hereafter proceed with the affairs of the world. When you have finished Friday prayers, bertebarlah on earth and look for the gift of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Friday prayers flanked by two world affairs. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:

O believers, if you are called upon to perform the Friday prayer, (but you are busy taking care of the state of affairs in the world) then your haste to remember Allah and leave your trading. That is better for you if ye only knew. If prayer has been fulfilled, then bertebaranlah you in the land and seek the bounty of Allah and remember Allah as much as possible so that you are lucky. [Al-Jumu'ah / 62:9-10]

If anyone says, 'If I am constantly serious and earnest all the time, I was definitely tired and bored.' Answer is your rest to refresh yourself and restore morale including work and practice. Means work and practice it should not move. your rest time to restore morale, including work and practice. most important thing is make your whole life in diligence and charity. Word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:

وإلى ربك فارغب

and just to Rabbmulah should you expect [al-Insyirah/94: 8]

That is, if you complete tasks then followed with another job then hopefully to Allah so that you get a reward. Stay tuned to ask help from Allah, before and after the deed. Before the charity ask for help to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. And after doing a good deed, hopefully reward from Allah Almighty. [2]

Liver disease physician, Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahullah said, "Utilizing time heavier than fix the past and the future. Utilizing time means doing deeds most important, most useful for themselves and bring the most happiness. In this case the man is divided into several levels . sake of Allah, that's your chance to collect supplies to meet hereafter, to heaven or to hell .... "[3]

Time goes by, the age we continue to grow. The question is whether we have the time to fill it as well as possible. Day after day passed, and that's going to live, whether it be utilized best as diwasiatkan by our Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam?

Indeed losers, people who do not fill out the following to be a true servant of Allah. People like this like walking undead, die prematurely. His life is not meaningful at all!

Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahullah said, "It is the right of Allah upon His servants in every passing moment of his life to fulfill the obligation ubudiyah which he offered to Allah and to bring her to him. If a servant to fill his time with the obligatory worship he did, then he will advance towards Allah. Conversely, if he is content with following passions, relaxing fun or unemployed, he will retreat. A slave that is not moving forward, he would move backwards. Nobody stops halfway. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta ' ala says:

(That is) for those of you who are willing to go forward or backward [al-Mudattsir/74: 37] [4]

Rahimahullah He continued, "If it does not go forward, he would resign. Servant is always running, do not stop. Otherwise it up, definitely down: If it does not go forward, backward ..... That's definitely the moments of life that passed quickly to heaven or hell! There are driving fast and some are slow-moving. Someone go ahead and some are backwards. Nobody is stopping in the middle of the road! Only in this way there are different goals and some direction different acceleration speed! "[5]

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

كل الناس يغدو فبايع نفسه فمعتقها أو موبقها

Every day everyone went on his journey, risking her out! There are freeing themselves and some are mencelakakanya! [6]

In another hadith mentioned:

يا كعب بن عجرة الناس غاديان

O Ka'b bin 'Ujrah, everyone is continuing her journey ..... "[7]

Every man went on his way, no one sells himself to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:

إن الله اشترى من المؤمنين أنفسهم وأموالهم بأن لهم الجنة

Surely Allah has bought of the believers, themselves and their property by giving Jannah for them [at-Tawbah / 9:111]

And some are sold to the devil is always lurking. [8]
Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahullah said, "Whoever does not charge for his time with the guidance of Allah and Allah then her death is better than life? If a servant is working on the prayer, then he only received part of the prayer which he did with solemn. He did not get any part of his life unless she lived with the instructions of Allah and projecting solely to Allah. "[9]

Then, could we fill 24 hours Allah give this to worship Allah Almighty? The answer, we are able to fill it with worship. It was when we interpret the broad sense of worship. Everything that is loved and blessed by Allah Almighty in the form of word and deed, and spiritually.

Verily Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has opened the doors of goodness. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has explained to us the good deeds that can draw us closer to Him. Did not the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

None of the charities that can bring you to heaven but I have commanded you. And none charities that can bring you to hell but I have banned you from him. "[10]

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has explained the Sunnah-sunnah that can be done by a Muslim day and night. Consider the narrative of Imam adh-Dhahabi rahimahullah following:
"If someone graduated from al-Qur'ân with Tartil within one week, and he routinely practice it would certainly be a major practice. Indeed this religion is easy. For the sake of Allah, reading the seventh al-Qur'ân with Tartil reading the tahajjud prayer accompanied with keeping other nawafil prayers, such as praying Duha and Tahiyyatul mosque, accompanied by dhikr-ma'tsur and authentic dhikr, prayers before bed and when wake him, prayer and dhikr after fard prayers, at the dawn of time, accompanied by a useful studying and busy myself with it outright, accompanied by enjoining unjust, provide guidance to the ignorant, to give warning to the wicked and the like. Accompanied by implementing obligatory prayers in congregation with humility and thuma'ninah, with submission and faith, and perform obligations, leaving the major sins, and seek forgiveness multiply prayer, alms reproduce, connecting straps silaturrahim, be humble 'and sincere in implementing it all, it is a very great flurry, and a maqam (position) of the Right Hand and saints of Allah as well as those who fear Allah. Really, all it is the case demanded. "[11]

If we apply the Sunnah-sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam as mentioned by Imam adh-Dhahabi above t necessarily half days we used to practice it, as he said, it was a great flurry who spend most of our time. And the only course left little opportunity for unemployed without good deeds.

However, humans often overwritten two diseases that prevent him from all that. That is lazy and taswif disease (procrastinating charity). Hence the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam always the refuge of the lazy nature. One of the prayer he sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam:

اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل وسوء الكبر اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عذاب في النار وعذاب في القبر

Ya Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness and ugliness in the old days. Ya Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of hell and torment of the grave. [12]

DAY NIGHT practice
Some form of charity that we can do a day and night include:

1. Obligatory prayers five times a day. This is the second pillar of Islam and must be performed by every Muslim who baligh and sensible. This obligation does not fall under any circumstances, except for women who are menstruating and postpartum.

Obligatory prayer is done by standing, if it can not stand, it is done while sitting, if you can not sit done while lying down, if not well then the cue.

2. Rawatib voluntary prayers that accompany the obligatory prayers.
Abdullah bin Umar radi Syaqîq recalled, "I asked 'Aisha radi anhuma about voluntary prayers performed by Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam. Aisha radi anhuma replied, 'He prayed four rak'ahs in his house before Zhuhur prayer, then he sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam out prayers in congregation, then he sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam go home and pray four rak'ahs. He sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam Maghrib prayer in congregation then he went home and prayed two rak'ahs. then his evening prayers in congregation ago go to my house and pray two rak'ahs. pray he raka'at nine nights including Witr prayer. Her prayers all night long to stand and sometimes he do while sitting. When he read the letter then he stood bowing and prostration well standing. Yet when he read the letter while sitting then his bowing and prostration well while sitting. When dawn was breaking then he prayed two rak'ah (voluntary dawn prayer). "[13]

3. Duha prayer, including prayer Awwabiin is conducted at the end of the prayer time Duha and Ishraq prayer is performed at the beginning of time Duha, ie once the sun comes up.

Abu Dhar al-Ghifari anhu narrates from the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, he said:

يصبح على كل سلامى من أحدكم صدقة فكل تسبيحة صدقة وكل تحميدة صدقة وكل تهليلة صدقة وكل تكبيرة صدقة وأمر بالمعروف صدقة ونهي عن المنكر صدقة ويجزئ من ذلك ركعتان يركعهما من الضحى

On every morning, every body joints Bani Adam must give charity. Each rosary
could be a charity. Each tahmid could be charity. Each tahlil could be charity. Every takbir can be alms. Each enjoining evil could also be a charity. All that can be replaced with two cycles were performed at the time of Duha. [14]

4. Evening prayer. There are so many hadiths that explain about the virtues of night prayer, such as the hadeeth of Abu Malik al-Ash'ari radi 'anhu said, "The Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said:

إن في الجنة غرفة يرى ظاهرها من باطنها وباطنها من ظاهرها أعدها الله لمن أطعم الطعام وألان الكلام وتابع الصيام وصلى بالليل والناس نيام

Actually in heaven available rooms inside visible from the outside and the exterior look of the inside. Rooms that Allah provide for the people who like to feed, soften said talk, multiply fast, spread greetings and evening prayers at a time when humans fall asleep [15]

The evening prayer is done two cycles or two cycles, until dawn.

5. Voluntary prayer after purification.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

من توضأ نحو وضوئي هذا ثم قام فركع ركعتين لا يحدث فيهما نفسه غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه

Whoever wudoo 'wudhu'ku like this, then pray two rak'ah and did not speak in the liver (which is done with humility') and doing that surely Allah will forgive his sins. [16]
Abu Hurairah radi 'anhu narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said to Bilal radi 'anhu after the dawn prayer, "O Bilal, tell me the deeds in Islam that you would expect. For verily I heard terompahmu in front of me in paradise. "Bilal said," It is not a practice that I practice the more I expect it every time I ablutions at night or during the day I always pray that I can do. "[17]

6. Voluntary prayer after Asr during two cycles of sunlight has not yellowed.
'Aisha radi anhuma said, "Two cycles are never abandoned by the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam either covertly or overtly: Two rak'ahs before the dawn prayer and two Rakat after the Asr prayer." [18]

7. Tauba prayer.
Ali ibn Abi Talib radi 'anhu said, "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said:

ما من رجل يذنب ذنبا ثم يقوم فيتطهر ثم يصلي ثم يستغفر الله, إلا غفر الله له

It is not a servant sinning then he stood up, and do wudoo 'and pray, then beg forgiveness of Allah but Allah will forgive him. "[19]

8. Witr prayer before going to bed.
Abu Hurayrah radi 'anhu said, "My love has willed me three cases, I'm not going to leave until I die: fasting three days each month, praying Duha and Witr prayers before going to bed." [20]

9. Keeping wudu '.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

لا يحافظ على الوضوء إلا مؤمن

No one is keeping wudu 'unless he's a believer [21]

10. Dhikr-dhikr after fard prayers.
11. Dhikr-remembrance absolute,
The point is-dhikr dhikr which may be read without being tied to a particular place and time. Example mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam:

أكثروا من شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله, قبل أن يحال بينكم و بينها

Expand reading creed la ilaha illa before before you blocked it [22].

And the hadith:

I say Subhan Allah HAMDULILLÂH WA WAL la ilaha illa Allaah AKBAR, I liked more than the rising of the sun [23]

And many more other good deeds we can do day and night.

Merutinkan deeds-deeds will surely bring virtue. Among them, if we fall sick or hindered because of the deeds bersafar for example, it will still be written the reward charities that we routinely do it. As mentioned in a hadith.

When a slave falls ill or middle bersafar, surely Allah Almighty reward still write to him as he always did when healthy and habitation (not bersafar) [24]

In addition, if we truly intend to practice it but hindered by something that can not be avoided, then this intention will still generate reward. For example, someone who truly intend to wake the night to pray Tahajjud, he was defeated by his past, he still counted reward for him. 'Aisha radi anhuma narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said:

ما من امرئ تكون له صلاة بليل فغلبه عليها نوم إلا كتب الله له أجر صلاته وكان نومه صدقة عليه

It is not someone who has intended prayers last night defeated by her (asleep) but Allah will write for him the reward was his night prayer and a charity it [25].

Abu Darda 'radi' anhu said, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

من أتى فراشه وهو ينوي أن يقوم يصلي من الليل فغلبته عيناه حتى أصبح كتب له ما نوى وكان نومه صدقة عليه من ربه عز وجل

Whoever came up his bed with the intention to pray the night evening but he was defeated by both eyes (asleep) until dawn then written to him what he had to intend and his alms to him from his Lord Almighty [26]

Therefore, sleep and rest can also be worth a believer worship and rewarding, if rested with the intention to be more passionate in worship.

Mu'adh bin Jabal radi 'anhu and Abu Musa al-Ash'ari radi' anhu bermudzakarah about righteous deeds.

Mu'adh radi 'anhu said, "O Abdullah, how do you read the Koran?"
Abu Musa radi 'anhu said, "I regularly read it every time." [27]

Abu Musa asked, "Then how do you read it O Mu'adh?"
Mu'adh replied, "I read it in the early evening and then I woke up after I'd finished my time to sleep part. I read what Allah make it easy for me. I expect my reward from the reward of what I expect when I'm awake. "

In another narration that Umar radi Mu'adh asked Abu Musa radi 'anhu, "How do you read al-Qur'ân?"

Abu Musa replied: "I read it at a time when standing and sitting, and on top of my vehicle, I regularly read it every time."

Mu'adh replied: "As for me, I wake up and I slept well. I expect my reward from the reward of what I expect when I'm awake. "[28]

al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar t said, "It means he begged reward at the leisure moments as he begged reward tired at times charity. Because free time when used to help increase arousal worship will also produce reward. "[29]

Similarly, other worldly deeds, such as eating and drinking, can be worth the reward of worship and if intended to help increase arousal worship.

In essence, the opportunity to be a servant of Allah is actually open 24 hours for every Muslim who can take advantage of the best possible time, wallahu sowab bish knows best.
