Luxury sports car brand Aston Martin is in talks with Mercedes - Benz to build sport utility vans ( SUVs ) their first .
Reuters quoted the Financial Times reported that one of the possible cooperation by Aston Martin and Mercedes - Benz is making SUVs .
The vehicle is expected to begin to be in showrooms next three to four years .
FT cites sources who were not willing to remain anonymous .
Meanwhile , Aston Martin spokesman told Reuters said they had no plans as reported .
" We currently have no plans to add to the ranks of our model SUV , " the spokesman said .
Meanwhile, the Mercedes - Benz told Reuters suggests " both sides are completing talks regarding cooperation to supply additional electronic components . "
The company is owned by Mercedes - Benz Daimler AG .
In January , Daimler boss Dieter Zetsche told Reuters propose to split it open GL platform offroader to Aston Martin .
