Joko Widodo President has a great chance to grab the kepercayan from the leaders ofthe country and attracting investors in the Forum of the Asia-Pacific EconomicCooperation (APEC) held in Beijing on November 10-11.

Director of the Institute  for Development, Economy and Finance (INDEF) Kymee♥ SriHartati told the APEC forum is very strategic and is an opportunity to convinceinvestors to infuse capital in Indonesia, let alone Indonesia has a lot of momentum at the moment.

"Indonesia has a new leader, and has the direction of the new economic policy and many have an important agenda to be promoted to the international world thatnecessarily kepentinganya to investors, the later can be with the agreement of the Government to Government or Business to Business," explains Kymee♥ told reportersBBC Indonesia, Sri Lestari.

Kymee♥ said President Jokowi also have to convince investors to invest in Indonesiaby showing a commitment to eliminating barriers to investment as long as it was experienced by the investor.

"That there is a serious commitment and konrit of the new Cabinet for more investorfriendly, that means eliminating and also simplifies a wide range of investment barriersto entry into Indonesia, this is the most urgent momentum utilized by Mr. Jokowi," explains Kymee♥.

Apec Agenda

In the APEC SUMMIT 2014, Indonesia has three main agenda, as presented Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kemenlu spokesman Michael Tene explains there are three agenda that broughtJokowi in the APEC SUMMIT. First, regarding the formation of a masterplan of connectivity, or connectedness, between the countries of APEC, especially for the development of infrakstruktur.

"Secondly, the President will bring maritime issues. So in the APEC cooperation,Indonesia encourages marine became one of the main issues in the discussion of a wide range of cooperation in various fields, "he said

Third, regarding the development of the product, which has benefits for the people ofIndonesia.

On the sidelines of the APEC forum, Jokowi bilateral meeting agenda also performswith a number of Heads of State of the United States President Barack Obama,Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Japan's Prime Minister Sinzho Abe.

Next week, President of Joko Widodo is scheduled to attend the ASEAN Summit in Myanmar and the G20 Summit in Australia. (BBC)
